Affiliated Units

The Office of Undergraduate Studies supports the development of innovative programs for undergraduates, faculty, staff, and the Central Florida community.  Internally, professional development and unique learning opportunities abound for faculty, staff, and students, and the rich resources of the university community are then extended to the Central Florida community through programs such as Bridges and multiple service-learning initiatives.


Academic Services is responsible for administering State of Florida and University academic policies pertaining to academic record changes, curriculum file management, the degree audit program, and universitywide undergraduate graduation requirements.

The Bridges Office works to connect UCF faculty with K-12 educators in the Central Florida area to share science, math, and engineering research, best practices, and resources.
The mission of the EXCEL program is to increase student success in the first two years of their college career in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) discipline.
The Office of Experiential Learning improves and measures student learning outcomes and partners with business and community partners locally, nationally, and internationally to provide courses in which students apply what they learn in the classroom in real-world settings.
The Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) Development Office enhances overall institutional quality and effectiveness by focusing on an issue important to improving student learning: Information Fluency.
The Interdisciplinary Studies Program offers students the opportunity to pursue individually planned programs utilizing the rich resources delivered through UCF courses and faculty.
The aim of the McNair program is to help students who are considered underrepresented in graduate education to gain a Ph.D. Some of our scholars are well on their way to achieving this goal!
The mission of the Office of Pre-Professional Advising (OPPA) is to provide guidance and support to students interested in pursuing careers in the health and legal professions.
The mission of the Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) is to strengthen and enrich the undergraduate research climate at the University of Central Florida.
The aim of the UCF Research and Mentoring Program is to help students who are considered underrepresented in graduate education to gain a Ph.D. Some of our scholars are well on their way to achieving this goal!
