The Unifying Theme represents UCF faculty, staff, and students' commitment to a sustainable environment. Over 120 faculty have incorporated the Unifying Theme into courses, impacting 7,500 students per semester. 200 visitors access www.UT.ucf.edu each day; the website features a student-faculty blog and environmental and climate change resources.
UCF is actively reducing its carbon footprint. Recycling at UCF (http://www.pp.ucf.edu/ucfrecycles/index.htm) increased from 4% to 14% in one year! Visit the Energy and Sustainability Management website, www.sustainable.ucf.edu, to find out how UCF reduced energy consumption by 22%!
