Residence Hall Energy Conservation Competition
Students compete to make UCF a greener campus!

Students in on-campus residence halls are competing to lower energy consumption this month.  The competition, sponsored by the Department of Sustainability and Energy Management and Housing and Residence Life, will run from Feb. 1 through Feb. 28, 2009.  Last year's winners were the BPW House, Citrus Hall, and Tower 2.

As stated on the Housing and Residence website, "The goal of the competition is to reduce each building's electricity consumption...promote energy conservation, and raise awareness of the economic and environmental consequences of high energy consumption, in a fun and community-building manner."  The Office of Undergraduate Studies wishes all of our on-campus residents the best of luck.  Happy conserving!
